Maximizing Your Work From Home Routine

Many of us have had to adapt to working from home during the pandemic, and the foreseeable future. Between work, parenting, cooking, and cleaning it is easy to become overwhelmed and find balance. Here are our tips to maximize your work-from-home routine. 

1. Set Boundaries

Set clear boundaries for your work space and work time. Have a dedicated area that you can remove yourself from so you don't feel 'on' 24/7. Figure out the most effective time that you have to get the most work done, even if it is for a shorter period than your typical workday in the office. Spreading your work out all day can make you feel like it never ends.

2. Cooking

We have found it helpful to use a pressure cooker or instant pot for easy meals. Throw your ingredients into the pot in the morning before you even start your day. This way it can be ready in time for lunch, and you can always use it for dinner. By the time the end of the day comes around, it is helpful to know dinner is already done, and the kitchen is already cleaned. 

3. Kids

If you have the flexibility with your hours, try to do your work the same time your kid (s) are on zoom. It make take some time to get settled in this routine, but trust us, it will happen!

4. Self Care

Whatever you do, prioritize yourself first. We know, easier said than done. Whether this includes your wellness routine or meditation, make sure to do it first. Personally, our CBD regimen is key.
